MICRO RING EXTENSIONS! a bit about them!

Ok so many of use will have hear the term Micro Ring extensions at some stage, just like many of us will have heard of Fusion bonding, or Keratin pre bonded extensions before.

I first heard of Micro Ring extensions some time ago and recently discovered that they are suitable for all types of hair and not just european hair as I had assumed. We all know that celebrities such as Jordan, Britney Spears and the like wear hair extensions but not all of us knew that these same extensions are also suitable for ALL HAIR TYPES including natural afro hair!

I was sceptical about it being for black hair when I first heard about it so I though the best way to find out for sure would be to try it out!

In the above pictures the client has a chin length relaxed bob. She is happy with her hair although she wanted to try something different to give her more length and body.

The application took under 2 hours and she was left with a fabulous result. Firstly the new hair blended with her natural hair existing hair exactly. I used 14″ colour 1b (dark brown) and colour 1 (jet black) in Classic Afro Relaxed otherwise known as Light Yaki texture, to give her the most natural result.

SO to conclude! Micro Ring extensions are not just for straight European hair, they are for ALL hair types, including coarse natural afro hair!

Ok so it’s been a while, I’m so sorry it taken me so long to post new blogs BUT I’m back!!

Recently I discovered a new texture, its called KINKY CURLY and the idea behind it is that its a curly hair that has a bit of coarseness to it, so its more realistic for use with darker complexions.
