The traditional weave is another glue-less method for applying hair extensions. Firstly the hair is braided in corn – rows (flat braids against the head) and the weft hair is sewn onto the braid using a special needle and thread.

The amount of wefts used will depend on how thick you want the hair. We normally used Indian Remy, Virgin Indian or Virgin Brazilian hair for this method.

This is a popular extension method for afro or curly hair.

Traditional sew in extensions should last for about 3 months before having to be removed and reused or replaced.

Hair Used

For this extension method we can use the following hair types: -

• INDIAN REMY HAIR - Comes in every texture and colour
• VIRGIN INDIAN HAIR - Comes in dark brown colours and straight wavy and curly textures
• VIRGIN BRAZILIAN HAIR - Comes in brown - dark brown colours and straight wavy and curly textures

Duration and aftercare

This method will take about 1-3 hours to apply and will last up the 3 months in the hair!

Prices

 The basic price to apply the traditional weave is £100 you will then need to purchase the hair on top.  For clients with their own hair the application price is £150.

 Typically you will only need 2 packs (200 grams plus) of hair with this method

 Price per 100 - 110 grams of hair
